1. Survey Questionnaire for Migrants and Returned Migrants
This survey will collect responses from young migrants (a young person living outside his country of origin or birth, this includes children if immigrants) or return migrants (a person who has returned back to his country of origin) who are aged between 15-35 years. The respondent should have lived in outside of their country of origin for one year or more or must be a child of an immigrant.
While considerable attention is given to the issue of migration and its potential economic and social impacts on origin, transit and destination countries, to date very little attention has been given to understanding various interventions that are being undertaken to enhance the opportunities that migration presents for youth (i.e. young migrants, return migrants and youth who are left behind) while mitigating associated risk.
The survey responses will be collected and analyzed and included in the UN World Youth Report 2013 which is expected to be launched on 12 August 2013, International Youth Day.
Where needed, we will ensure confidentiality or anonymity for young people who would not like their full names and details to be disclosed in the Report for one reason or the other.

2. Survey to Identify Good Practices on Youth Migration
International migration has, undoubtedly, become a pressing developmental issue in recent times not only for governments and the international community, but also for a broad range of society actors in both the North and South.
As part of the process of gathering inputs for the 2013 World Youth Report (WYR), the UN Focal Point on Youth invites youth-led organizations, UN agencies or inter-governmental organizations and other relevant stakeholders implementing various youth migration-centered initiatives to share good practices that could be featured in the UN World Youth Report.
